Promoting Justice, Inclusivity, and Equality through Election and Governance in Africa. The aim of this program will be enhancing the capacity of participants to promote justice, inclusivity, and equality in elections and governance for building strong and sustainable democracies in Africa. This presentation will take two hours per day for days. It will be structural and active participation with the different participants’ experiences with the ideas they have in their various countries. At the end of each presentation, we will develop the action plan toward effective governance and democracy that much with our African we want-specific localization.
The objectives
To analyze the current state of justice, inclusivity, and equality in elections(democracy) and governance in Africa.
To identify the key factors that contribute to the lack of justice, inclusivity, and equality in the electoral and governance processes.
To explore the role of the youth, women and people with special needs in promoting justice, inclusivity, and equality through their engagement in elections and governance.
To propose strategies and interventions that can enhance justice, inclusivity, and equality in the electoral and governance systems in Africa.
The outcomes
Increased awareness among the youths and civil society organizations, about the importance of promoting justice, inclusivity, and equality in elections and governance.
Enhanced participation of youth and marginalized groups in the electoral and governance processes, leading to more representative and responsive governance.
Improved transparency, accountability, and integrity in the electoral and governance systems in Africa, fostering trust and confidence in the democratic processes
