While the challenges young people face across the globe are diverse, complex, and layered, we’ve found that the causes at the root of the issues have similarities, and they can be addressed with the same effective tools. That’s why Democracy Moves is committed to sharing tools, ideas, research, and best practices so young people everywhere can arm themselves with the skills they need to make a difference.
Everything we do comes back to our core value of collaboration. All of our workshops, meetings, and events are held virtually to facilitate collaboration across borders.

As we build this coalition, we're seeking to create a network of scholars who are focused on youth activism around the world.
This network will connect diverse scholars from around the world, elevate research strategies that support youth movements and human rights organizing, and form new collaborations with activists themselves. This scholars network will not be academics just talking to each other but ensuring that the work they promote is useful among youth activists in the broader global context.
